passive voice
Is it acceptable to use passive voice in my work. If not, how might I change the wording.
See example:
What I recall from high school English class is limited to verbs, nouns and adjectives.

The passive voice is less usual than the active voice. The active voice is the "normal" voice. But sometimes we need the passive voice.
Verbs, nouns and adjectives are what I recall from high school English class.
