Why do we need "MY" in this kind of sentence?
I'm studying for my MBA or I'm persuing my MBA Can't we say, I am persuing MBA( In this sentence, it is understood) I am studying MBA. Please correct if I am wrong

To expand on Lewis's answer,
I am pursuing MBA -- it is not understood. It sounds as though you are persuing a person named MBA. You need a possessive.
I am studying MBA -- again, it's not understood. MBA is not a class. It is something you earn after taking many classes. You need for and a possessive or an article.
