Michael is Kate's little brother. Why is grammerly.com saying it is " Michael is Kares little brother" Which is correct
See example:
Michael is Kate's little brother and is 13 years old.

Your sentence is correct. The version given by grammerly.com without the ' would only be correct if there were more than 1 Kate. Kates's for posessive and Kates for plural.
