Indeed is used as:

Adverb: meaning "in fact" "really".

 

Interjection to express surprise.

indeed(as an interjection): "really?/truly?"as an interjection is used in surprise or disblief and irony situations.indeed(as an adverb): "surely/infact &..."as an adverb you can use it in a situation that you are sure about an opinion and you want to express it.( to complete my friends opinion, Gupta and our unknown friend)Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
