Should "the" before "nurses". I think it should, but grammarly said that it should not?

See example:

Some of the nurses and doctors felt that they were going to spend more time in front of the computer and less with the patient.

Dawn, you asked this same question two days ago.

 

Our answer remains the sane. Your of "the" is correct.  Read what Grammarly tells you carefully. It says it MAY be incorrect  -- because you can also say "Some nurses and doctors" -- not that it IS correct.  Notice that the alternative has a different meaning than what you wrote. Grammarly's flag indicates that using or omitting the article "the" changes the meaning. Grammarly is trying to make sure that what you wrote is what you meant.
