The use of feel

0

One I'd like to point out i'm horrible at grammar and words but, I am trying.
I was wondering if someone said "I feel like going for a walk" or "I feel like eating that donut," is this the correct term.
I don't think so as I think that 'I feel like going for a walk' should be 'I want to go for a walk.' As you can't emotionally or physically feel like doing something.

But like I said, I suck at this kind of stuff.

Thank you for your answers, in advance

"I feel like going for a walk." is a perfectly legitimate sentence grammatically and emotionally.
