Do I need to use "His" unlimited strength? Should I use "in" or "during" difficult times?

We can count on God's grace and His unlimited strength to help us in difficult times.

I would remove His in this case. I liked "during" better because it covers the duration, not just at some point.

Both in and during are acceptable. I prefer during.

We can count on God's grace and His unlimited strength to help us during difficult times.
