cause or effect paragraph
need help with a topic sentence
When was the last time you went into a pet store to just look and you saw the cutest puppy in the window, looking at you with the cutest little puppy eyes, and you knew you had to bring that puppy home.
Though the end of the sentence is far removed from the question word, this is still a question that requires a question mark at the end. This is also very informal and conversational. It may not be appropriate for your paper. Generally, you should avoid writing in the first or second person for an academc paper - unless unstructed to do so.
I won't try to rewrite the myriad of information available online about writing cause and effect papers. Do a search on "writing cause and effect paper" and you will find that many school districts, colleges, and universities have posted instructions and tutorials on the topic. There's even a wikihow page on it.
