Normal sentence : The man who is contented is happy.

Inverted sentence : 1.  Happy is the man who is contented.


                                    2 . Happy the man who is contented is.


Is sentence number 2 correct?

Only if you are Yoda.  This thought is equating happiness with contentment.  There are many ways to write this, but your #2 is very awkward.


Happy is the man who is contented.

Contented is the man who is happy.

 A happy man is a contented man.

 A contented man is a happy man.
