Use of articles
Is it correct to us the definite artilce The in this phrase "The uniformed workers" ?
It can be correct with or without the article.
The uniformed workers - means specific workers. The uniformed workers were given a pass. The workers not in uniforms had to complete some paperwork before getting a pass.
Uniformed workers - means any workers, not specific ones. Uniformed workers are easier to identify when they ring your doorbell.
