Help with a sentence.
Not understanding what I need to do to make this sentence grammatically correct. The words 'were designed' are coming up as errors. Please help.
The questions in my ethical survey were designed to get people to thinking about their own moral beliefs, and possibly begin meaningful dialog about said issues.
Was the message saying a grammatical error or pointing out that this is passive voice? There are some other errors in this sentence. 'To thinking' should be 'to think'. The comma after 'beliefs' should not be there. I've rewritten this in active voice for you.
