how should this be worded


it is a run on in grammarly.

See example:

In conclusion, I believe that the Illinois is no more equipped than California to handle the demand of illegal immigrations.

You don't need an article before Illinois


The word more should be better.  Someone might have more equipment, but they are better equipped or well equipped.


Immigration is an uncountable noun.  You do not add an s to make it plural. 


In conclusion, I believe that Illinois is no better equipped than California for handling the demand of illegal immigration.
