faulty parallelism?

"I was born and grow up in Indonesia." Wrong grammar? How to write this sentence? Thank you.

Faulty parallelism means that you have two verbs with tenses that do not match.  'Born' is past tense, and 'grow' is present tense. Change 'grow' to 'grew'.

I was born and grew up in Indonesia.

Now the tenses match, and the sentence is correct.
