about using articles
Should I say "I have machinery" or "I have a machinery"?
'Machinery' is non countable noun and can refer to one or to many machines. You would not use an article with the word.
I have machinery.
'Machine' is different and can be plural.
I have many machines.
I have a machine.
I have machines.
