Should this be "who" teaches us ... or "that" teaches us?
Thank you for the touching story of Hannah that teaches us the importance of keeping our promises to you.
It should be "that" because the pronoun is used in the sentence to refer to "story". The general rule is when referring to an object use "that" and when referring to a person use "who". So while it is "the touching story of Hannah that teaches.." it would be "Thank you for Hannah who taught us the story of...".
Hope this helps!
