This one is probably wrong:

 

"I .try...... to remember that song that I heard on the radio, but I can’t."

(Hint, you are still in the process of trying to remember the song.

 

This one is correct (you must have fixed it after Patty answered):

"Why is he................. late every time we arrange a meeting?"

 

(Hint, the one below doesn't need a present participle tense:)

"....................... out at expensive restaurants because of my tight budget."
I don’t often eat
I’ll not often eating
I’m not often eating

 

(Hint, you want past tense here:)

"If you....... gotten on that bus, would you have been able to arrive on time?"
