'Freedom' is the noun  form of the adjective 'free'.

A free people have freedom.

 

'Fighting' is the present participle of 'fight' and can be an adjective.

He has a fighting rooster.

 

'Peaceful' is the adjective form of peace.

It has been a peaceful day.
