How to use prepositions correctly for two nouns that appear one after another?

For example, in the following four sentences, should I use prepositions for both nouns or only use the proposition for the second noun?

1) Social acceptance or resistance to a culture is crucial for the development of the culture.

2) Social acceptance and resistance to a culture is crucial for the development of the culture.

3) Social accpetance of or resistance to a culture is crucial for the development of the culture.

4) Social accpetance of and resistance to a culture is crucial for the development of the culture.

Which one is correct? Thank you in advance!
