Here we come!

What is the meaning of 'Here we come!'? Does it mean 'We have come here!' or 'We are coming now!'? And when can we use the expression? What do you experts think?

Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

'We are coming now!' is the closer meaning.  In the written word, this will mostly be in dialog. If a group is approaching another group, a person may shout out, 'Here we come.'
