what word should I use here - It keeps coming up that the word I use is in a passive voice?
$2.8 million of our excess inventory is allocated to future season plans.
Passive voice is proper grammar, but active voice is generally prefered. There are two other errors in this sentence, however. Sentences should not start with numerals, and 'season' should be the adjective form, 'seasonal'. Changing this to active voice will eliminate the first error.
