Your question has "bridging the skills with emotional intelligence provides a new paradigm...".  This has a single and singular subject, the gerund 'bridging' and you have used 'provides' correctly.

 

Your example sentence throws in 'model and'. This doesn't make sense to me. You have now tried to create a compound subject, but I can't interpret what you mean.
