does this thing work to find where commas should be?
Hi my name is Jesus I am from North Carolina
I can't help you with the software question, but I can help you with the sentence.
A comma, or exclamation point as shown in Mahjabin's answer, should go after 'Hi'. His example sentences are all wrong, however.
You have two independent clauses in this sentence, and they can be made into two sentences, joined with a comma and a conjunction, or, rarely, a semicolon.
Hi, my name is Jesus. I am from North Carolina.
Hi, my name is Jesus, and I am from North Carolina.
Hi, my name is Jesus; I am from North Carolina.
