What is correct? "While the earth spins" or "While the earth spin"


Also follow up questions, could you write "As the earth spins" or drop "the" and write "While earth spins"

Earth is singular, and it requires a singular form of the verb. Earth needs to be capitalized.  You should keep 'the' in the sentence.
