weird, wierd

I think that I getting sleepy but I keep this word two different ways and I still don’t know how spell it because both ways looks wrongs to me.  So maybe you can tell me quick, is it WEIRD or WIERD.  I am sounding it out and the second way sounds like how you pronouns it – (Wi-erd) but that doesn’t look right.  But the other way doesn’t look right either and doesn’t work for pronunciation (We-IRD). So I am aksing this here and hoping that to the morning I can to remember how to spell or else someone can tell!
