Improper use of, and agreement of, pronouns

Unfortunately, the bride and groom keeps interrupting the storyteller until the storyteller get fed up with everybody and agrees to tell the truth about the couple’s life, which is that everybody does not always have a happy ending. what is wrong with this sentence and what do i need to change to correct it?

"Unfortunately, the bride and groom keeps interrupting the storyteller until the storyteller get fed up with everybody and agrees to tell the truth about the couple’s life, which is that everybody does not always have a happy ending."

 

"bride and groom" becomes a plural, so it should be "...keep interrupting..."

 

"get fed up" is not proper English construction. It should be "gets fed up"

 

I'm not sure why you have it in present tense.  I'm going to rewrite using past tense.

 

"Unfortunately, the bride and groom kept interrupting the storyteller. The storyteller got fed up, and told the truth about the couple's life: everybody does not have a happy ending."
