Lose or loose? Help!
To lose or to loose? My attempt at choosing the right one seem to always result in loss. :)
Does anyone know an easy way of remembering the difference between lose and loose? English grammar, why you so confusing! For example, if I were to ""(lose or loose) my cool,"" which one would it be? They both just look weird to me, and sounding them out in my head doesn't really help.
If anyone can help me with the lose vs. loose conundrum (my new favorite english word), I would be very thankful. This looks like a really great community and I'm excited to learn from you guys. Maybe (I hope!) someday I'll be able to contribute and help to other people learning too.
