Is this sentence correct?1. My teacher receives many presents during the teachers day.
I wonder if you meant Teacher's Day, as in a certain day of the year set aside to celebrate teachers. Changing it to "her day" usually means on any day that she is working as a teacher. If you meant it as a special day of the year, it would be capitalized and the proper noun for the day. This makes more sense to me since she is receiving presents. If so, you would say "on" that day, not "during" the day.
