Comma before said.
Grammerly indicates wrong punctuation with the comma inside the quotation marks
See example:
"We are gathered today to say farewell to the grandmother who has passed from this life," said Ezra. "She was a good wife and a good mother.

Hmm, the comma is there so I'm not sure why you are receiving that suggestion. However, you did forget the quotation mark after mother.
