Using Passive form
1. As far as I'm concerned, passive form can be used in that sentence.
Both 'was calculated' and 'was provided' . isn't it?
2. in the first sentense, can I use 'it' instead of ' the building' ?
3. NG Bailey is the company name. I used of which, instead of 'where'. Am I using right grammar?
The U-value of the building fabric was calculated as it(the building)was designed.

If you repeat the word "bulding," it's better. As for the passive voice, it depends on what you want to stress -- the value was calculated (passive), or who calculated it (active).
