" Dibs has a connection with other people, and able to make them feel better not like before"

i wonder if this correct because the microsoft word thought "Dibs have" so i don't know really.

See example:

Dibs has a contc with other people, and able to make them feel better.

If Dibs is the name of one person/place/organisation it is 'has'.  If Dibs is a plural noun, it should be "Dibs have".
