use of possessive or singular pronouns
Which is correct usage of the words "me" and "my" in this instance. Please check the following two sentences: "He would appreciate me seeing him off" or "he would appreciate my seeing him off?" I would like to know which use of "me" or "my" is correct.

Hi,
In the example you gave 'my seeing him off' is the most correct.
This is a question of what is being appreciated: 'me' or 'my seeing him off'. In this sentence, it is clear that he would be thankful, not for you, but for your actions (you seeing him off).
I hope this helps!
