how would you perefraze this sentence?

See example:

It will be beneficial for my US counterparts, and will help them to get familiar with Armed Forces of Georgia, and processes NCOs in Georgian armed forces went through.

It will be beneficial for my US counterparts; to familiarize them with the Armed Forces of Georgia, detailing the processes for other NCO's who have worked with us.

The rewrite is good, but I would not use a semicolon. Semicolons should only be used when both clauses on either side are complete sentences. The second clause in this sentence is not a complete sentence. Instead of a semicolon, I suggest an em dash (—). KimberlySep 23 '11 at 13:25
