Music can make a person fall in love and being in love can make some awesome music. Can this sentence be an exception for verb agreement?

See example:

Music can make a person fall in love and being in love can make some awesome music.

I don't see a problem with verb agreemet. You have a compound sentence, and you need a comma after the first 'love'. 'Can make' is the verb in both clauses, so they match up perfectly.

Music can make a person fall in love, and being in love can make some awesome music.
