Examples shown in the correction of text.
After Grammerlay edits my document and then it gives examples as to how to correct my sentence. Why can't Grammerly use my sentence and correct it, showing me different ways to do this. Why does it have to make up other sentences to show this? Its just more confusing and would be better if it would use my sentence, instead.
I don't work for Grammarly, but I can think of two reasons. 1) it is software. It looks for patterns of words. It does not understand context. 2) Grammarly markets itself to students and schools. To pay someone else (a person or software) to write for you is not acceptable in academics. The software checks your work and let's you know when it finds errors. You still have to do your own writing, though.
