Proper grammer help

How might I rewrite this statement with the correct grammar

See example:

When you are accomplishing any task you should hold yourself to doing the best that you can, and at the end of the day you need to look yourself in the mirror and be very proud of the accomplishments of the day.

There is a lot of redundancy. I would simplify it and make two sentences. Do the best you can with every task. At the end of the day, you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud of your accomplishments.
