personal pronouns as objects of prepositions


A friend tells me "The lady gave a cookie to she and I."  I tell her it should be "her and me."  Who is correct and why?

The lady gave a cookie to her and me.

"Her" and "Me" are objective pronouns. It must come only after the verbs
