Past tense, Present tense, Future tense?

What is wrong with this sentence? "I've seen a good movie on T.V. last night"

The action took place last night, so the tense should be past. 'TV' is the common abbreviation for television.

I saw a good movie on TV last night

Lewis is correct so far as he goes, but I just wanted to add that you can't use the Present Perfect (have seen) with a finished time period (last night).  That is why, when choosing the correct past verb tense for your sentence, you must choose Simple Past (saw).  If the time period is not finished (includes the present), then Present Perfect is fine and probably the best choice:  I have seen two great movies this week. (But, I saw two great movies last week.)
