Married name

I just got married and my husband is a "the 3rd." His father was Jr, his Grandfather was Sr, and he is the 3rd. (Consequently our son will be the 4th.) some of the cards we got at the wedding, addressed to us with my new name, made me wonder - in the form of a woman's name being written "Mrs. Ben Smith," if he was the 3rd would she be Mrs. Ben Smith III? Or would the 3 only be used by the man? Are there any circumstances under which a woman would be called "Anne Smith III?" Thanks for your help. I just want to make sure I know the correct usages of my own name.

What I found is that the correct address would be 'Mr. and Mrs. Ben Smith III'. From this, I would say that addressing you as 'Mrs. Ben Smith III' would be correct. You would not, however, be 'Anne Smith III'.
