Should this be, "bragged ON Emily?"

I developed a lump in my throat when she bragged about how Emily cleaned the house and did the gardening. 

 

NOTE:
 

Emily's mother bragged on Emily and how Emily cleaned the house....

Nope, "about" is correct here.
