This is a tough one—a good challenge! I'll give it a go:
Even though a loved one may be suffering, people can find strength in prayer, remaining faithful by showing love and devotion to God.
I can't help it ... you just gotta add, my favorite:

I attended a pre-departure meeting for this year's Malaysian Erasmus Mundus awardees last Thursday. it was organised by the delegation of the european union to Malaysia. And I came to know a girl who is given a place in the Dublin institute of technology. she will be starting her course in September, nevertheless she is having a problem seeking lodging. As there is no assistance from the DIT, can you give her a hand in this matter? Thank you! By the way, do we have to find accommodation by our own before heading to DIT?
