What you have are two independent clauses. This can be written three ways: a comma and a conjunction, a semicolon, or two sentences separated by a period. The one that would give the most 'punch' is the semicolon.

 

Don't miss the concert; buy your tickets now.

 

An alternative would be to use a dash, or hyphen.

Don't miss the concert - buy your tickets now.
