It has been changed numerous times. Here is Mark 16:19:

From the King James Version

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

From the Common English Bible

After the Lord Jesus spoke to them, he was lifted up into heaven and sat down on the right side of God.

From the Amplified Bible

So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.

From the Complete Jewish Bible

So then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Yeshua was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God.

From the Easy to Read Version

After the Lord Jesus said these things to his followers, he was carried up into heaven. There, Jesus sat at the right side of God.

There are about 20 more English language versions of the Bible. They all say the same thing, but in a slightly different way.
