Part and parcel is an idiom that means 'an essential or basic element'.  To take someone/something by storm means to provoke a strongly favorable reaction--such as applause, critical acclaim, etc.  The original meaning was to 'conquer a city/area by overwhelming force' but the figurative meaning is much more commonly meant today.
