Lewis, your second comment is not correct. You would need a second "in" for that meaning: "to be seen in in Hyderabad" which sounds terrible but grammatical. In fact, the second sentence Sanjay is asking about is simply a passive rendering of the first, and because it is unnecessarily passive, the first sentence is the common and desirable version.
