when we quote something short like the above one we usually use quotation marks but since quotation marks are already there due to the sentence being a reported one, we must rearrange the sentece and make it this way:
Henry(2011) located that "many of the men ran, and he was one of the only ones who had stayed and fought".
2011 is added because you cannot cite any thing without mentioning some information about the cited words,sentences, and/or etc.
