Rewrite emphasizing the war drug on in comparison to the time it took to acutally capture Saddam


Sadly, the capture of Saddam Hussein and collecting information on the weapons of mass destruction was relatively quick in comparison to the wars actual length.

Sadly: this sentence adverb is not great; the emotion is misplaced here.  A better one would be unfortunately


collecting information on the weapons of mass destruction: this is too imprecise.  I think you are referring to the important fact that no weapons of mass destruction were found, so you should say so.


wars: how many wars? Only one.  You mean war's
