Usage of 'earth'

0

Please would you put an end to this issue.

When 'earth' is used for the meaning of the planet we live in, which way is natural or correct?

1) the earth

2) the Earth

3) Earth

Or is there a preferrence?

I think that all of them are used commonly and mean the same but I prefer using the second. What do you experts think and choose? Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

Giving "earth" an intial capital helps to distinguish the planet from the soil.

Whether you have "the" in front of it usually depends on the context.
