There are several problems with this sentence. I would complete the first sentence after 'gun'.  What comes next is a jumble of words, which I will straighten out. You want the word "you're", the contraction for you are, rather than 'your', the possessive pronoun.

An unloaded gun is the safest gun.  The best safety tip is to keep the gun unloaded until you're about to use it.

My father was a US Marine in WWII, and he taught me at an early age that there is no such thing as an unloaded gun. That's my best safety tip. It means that you always treat every gun as if it were loaded.

You can also emphasise the important word by moving it to the beginning of the sentence.

"The safest gun is an unloaded gun."
