The correct use of apstrophy (') and meaning. for example girl's

I understood but in case of girls'  what it does means.please help me out

Girl's is used when you are referring to one girl's possession.

The girl's bicycle was left in the driveway.


If several girls left their bikes in the driveway, the plural possessive is used.

The girls' bicycles were left in the driveway.
