Real or True?

Hello! I was wondering what the differences are between the words "real" and "true"? Are they interchangeable? For example if I am talking about an artist with a lot of talent, should I say, "She is a true artist with true talent" or "She is a real artist with real talent" or something else?

Thank you.

They are not always interchangeable, but they are in your example. Either would work, or you may want to mix it up a little by writing:

She is a true artist with real talent.

She is a real artist with true talent.
